Colon Hydrotherapy (colonic Irrigation)
The course is interactive set over 6 days and includes a full content to post graduate level. Contents of the course include: -
· History of colon hydrotherapy.
· Importance of using disposal speculums, together with appropriate safety and hygiene
· Difference between Open, Closed and Gravity systems
· Importance of health questionnaire before the treatments
· Reassurance to the client.
· Importance of treating the client holistically
· Benefits and Contra-indications of colonic hydrotherapy
· Anatomy & Physiology of the digestive system, with relevance to cleansing and detoxing
· Emphasis on ascending, transverse and descending colon, hepatic and splenic flexures
· Diseases and disorders of the colon and digestive system
· Importance of fibre and water
· Supplements in the form of appropriate vitamins and minerals
· pH Balancing
· Bristol Stools Table and interpretations
· Colonic equipment and how to vary and enhance techniques during treatment
· Aftercare and dietary advice

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
UK Holistics offers full accredited training in Colonic Hydrotherapy. The course is very practical and hands on and with numbers being kept to a mimimum to ensure a high level of personal attention students will benefit from giving and receiving a number of treatments.
